December 2023 Nisshinbo Holdings Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nisshinbo Singapore Pte. Ltd., acquire all the shares of HVJ Holdings Inc., which holds 80% of our company's stock. Our company becomes a consolidated subsidiary of Nisshinbo Holdings Inc.
February 2020 HVJ Holdings Inc. (an SPC funded by Japan Industrial Partners, Inc. ) acquires the shares held by KKR in our company. The ownership ratio is 80% for HVJ Holdings Inc. and 20% for Hitachi, Ltd.
June 2018 Our company divested its thin-film process solutions business through an absorption-type company split whereby HKE Holdings establised by KKR was the succeeding corporation.
May 2018 The merger of Hitachi Kokusai Yagi Solutions Inc. with Kokusai Electric Techno Service Co., Ltd. and HS Services Inc. is conducted to establish HYS Engineering Service Inc.
March 2018 the shares of our company were delisted from the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
October 2016 Our company moved its Tokyo headquarters from Chiyoda-ku to Minato-ku.
June 2016 Our company made BCS Teknoloji Yayıncılık ve Haberleşme Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a consolidated subsidiary of Hitachi Kokusai Electric Turkey Elektronik Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş..
The corporate name was changed to Hitachi Kokusai Electric Turkey Yayıncılık Sistemleri A.Ş.in July 2016.
January 2016 Our company acquired all shares of Kook Je Electric Korea Co., Ltd. (Kokusai Electric Korea Co., Ltd.) (KEK) and KEK became a wholly owned subsidiary of our company.
April 2015 Our company made Comark Communications LLC a consolidated subsidiary of Hitachi Kokusai Electric America, Ltd.(New York, U.S.).
The corporate name was changed to Hitachi Kokusai Electric Comark LLC.
February 2015 Our company delisted the consolidated subsidiary Kook Je Electric Korea Co., Ltd. (Kokusai Electric Korea Co., Ltd.) from the KOSDAQ, by way of a tender offer and other means.
June 2014 Our company acquired a share of Comark Communications LLC, and Comark Communications LLC became an equity method affiliate of our company.
October 2013 The functions of the Hamura Works and Omiya Works will be transferred to, and integrated in the Koganei region. Koganei Works was renamed Tokyo Works.
June 2013 Our company established Hitachi Kokusai Electric Turkey Elektronik Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.
April 2013 The merger of Hitachi Kokusai Electric Services, Inc with YAGI ANTENNA INC., YAGI ELECTRONICS CO., Ltd, and Hitachi Kokusai Denki Engineering Co., Ltd is conducted to establish Hitachi Kokusai Yagi Solutions Inc.
October 2011 Hitachi Kokusai Brazil Electric Products and Services Ltda., Hitachi Kokusai Linear Electronic Equipments S/A and its consolidated subsidiary became new consolidated subsidiaries of our company due to the acqusition of shares. Kook Je Electric Korea Co., Ltd. (Kokusai Electric Korea Co., Ltd.) merged with FUSIONAID CO., LTD.
September 2011 Hitachi Kokusai Brazil Electric Products and Services Ltda. became new consolidated subsidiaries of our company due to the acquisition of shares.
September 2010 Kook Je Electric Korea Co., Ltd. (Kokusai Electric Korea Co., Ltd.) and its consolidated subsidiary FusionAid Co., Ltd. became new consolidated subsidiaries of our company due to the additional acquisition of shares.
April 2010 We merged with Tohoku Electronics Engineering Co., Ltd.
April 2009 HS Services Inc., a subsidiary of Hitachi Kokusai Electric Services Inc. , became a consolidated subsidiary of our company.
March 2009 Our company became a subsidiary (consolidated company) of Hitachi Ltd.
April 2008 KOKUSAI ELECTRIC EUROPE GmbH and HITACHI KOKUSAI ELECTRIC EUROPE GmbH merged to form "HITACHI KOKUSAI ELECTRIC EUROPE GmbH"(currently a consolidated company of our company), and HITACHI KOKUSAI ELECTRIC U.K. LTD, former subsidiary of our company (as of March 31 ), became a wholly-owned subsidiary of HITACHI KOKUSAI ELECTRIC EUROPE GmbH.
April 2007 The business departments of Hitachi Denshi Technosystems Ltd. were divided into those conducting the engineering operations of our company and those conducting other operations. Then, the latter transferred its operations to Hitachi Kokusai Denki Engineering Co., Ltd. and our company merged with the former.
Hitachi Kokusai Denki Engineering Co., Ltd. transferred operations of the Akita Works (involving the departments in charge of design and sales of electric and communications equipment) to our company. Other departments of Hitachi Kokusai Denki Engineering Co., Ltd., together with those transferred from Hitachi Denshi Technosystems Ltd. as described above, have strengthened engineering operations with the Hamura Works serving as the core.
January 2007 Hitachi Kokusai Denki Engineering Co., Ltd. became a wholly owned subsidiary of our company by stock exchange.
May 2006 Our company additionally invested in Kokusai Electric Asia Pacific Shanghai Ltd., which was renamed Hitachi Kokusai Electric (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
March 2006 Our company moved its Tokyo headquarters from Nakano-ku to Chiyoda-ku.
January 2006 Hitachi Denshi America, Ltd. was renamed Hitachi Kokusai Electric America, Ltd. Hitachi Denshi (U.K.) Ltd. was renamed Hitachi Kokusai Electric U.K. Ltd. Hitachi Denshi (Europa) GmbH was renamed Hitachi Kokusai Electric Europe GmbH.
April 2005 Kokusai Denki Engineering Co., Ltd. merged with Kokusai Denki Alpha Co., Ltd. to form a new company named Hitachi Kokusai Denki Engineering Co., Ltd. Goyo Engineering Co., Ltd. merged with Goyo Electronics Co., Ltd. to form a new company named Goyo Electronics Co., Ltd.
October 2004 The Yagi Antenna Division was split off to form a new company (YAGI ANTENNA INC.). (Currently a consolidated company of our company)
December 2003 KEM Co., Ltd. completed the process of voluntary liquidation. Our company closed its Chitose Works, Yagi Commemorative Telecommunications System Institute, Sendai Division.
June 2003 Akita Yagi Electronics Co., Ltd. merged with Tottori Yagi Electronics Co., Ltd. and renamed itself Yagi Electronics Co., Ltd.
April 2003 The operations of Kokusai Denki Logistics Co., Ltd. were divided into two parts. The transport operations concerning semiconductor manufacturing systems were integrated into Kokusai Electric Semiconductor Service Co., Ltd. Meanwhile, operations concerning communications and information systems and other enterprises were integrated into Kokusai Denki Techno Service Inc.
March 2003 Kokusai Semiconductor Equipment Corp., a US-based subsidiary, merged with Kokusai Electric America, Inc. The US-based subsidiary Micro C. Technologies, Inc. was then closed.
September 2002 Shizuoka Kokusai Denki Co., Ltd. completed the process of voluntary liquidation.
April 2002 Our company merged with Kokusai Denki Training Center Co., Ltd., which was later dissolved. Kokusai Denki Engineering Co., Ltd. then set up Goyo Engineering Co., Ltd.
March 2002 The Fuji Yoshida Works was closed.
December 2001 The Kobuchizawa Works was closed.
November 2001 The operations at the Sendai and Kobuchizawa Works were respectively transferred to Tohoku Electronics Engineering Co., Ltd.
October 2001 Kokusai Denki Techno Service Inc. merged with Nikko Techno Co., Ltd. Hitachi Kokusai Electric Services Inc. merged with Yagi System Engineering Co., Ltd. Tohoku Electronics Engineering Co., Ltd. was set up on the premises of the Sendai Works.
August 2001 Our company exchanged the stocks of Infobank Co., Ltd. which it owned (21.8% of the issued stocks) with those of Artis Corporate Engineering Co.
March 2001 Kokusai Denki System Service Co., Ltd. transferred its communications and information department to Hitachi Electronics System Service Co., Ltd. and renamed the company Kokusai Denki Semiconductor Service Co., Ltd. Hitachi Electronics System Service Co., Ltd. renamed itself "Hitachi Kokusai Electric Service Co., Ltd. Kokusai Denki Engineering Co., Ltd. set up Goyo Electronics Co., Ltd.
October 1, 2000 Kokusai Electric Co., Ltd., Hitachi Denshi, Ltd., and Yagi Antenna Co., Ltd. merged to form "Hitachi Kokusai Electric Inc"("Our company").
